Oven-Roasted Green Beans

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound green beans trimmed

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 2 lemons sliced

  • 3 shallots chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 450°. Place a jellyroll pan in the oven for 10 minutes.

  2. In a large bowl, place beans, and drizzle with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper, tossing to coat. Add lemon slices and chopped shallots, tossing to combine. Arrange green bean mixture in a single layer on preheated baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
