
Makes 4 to 6 servings
- 12 ounces angel hair pasta
- 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 cups spicy tomato pasta sauce
- 2 ounces prosciutto,
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil, plus leaves for garnish
- 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar

1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to hot pot. Cover.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine evaporated milk and flour. Bring
heat until mixture thickens, whisking constantly. Once it is thickened and bubbling, cook for about 1 minute.
3. Stir in spicy pasta sauce, prosciutto, basil, and sherry vinegar. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Toss with pasta.
4. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
