Quick Cleanup

Tidying up the kitchen is simple with a little planning.  When making bar cookies or other messy foods, line the pan with foil for easy removal and even easier cleanup.  Or use disposable foil pans and just throw the mess away when you’re done cooking!  Spray measuring cups with cooking spray before adding sticky ingredients, such as honey.  Grate cheese and citrus zest, peel vegetables, and sprinkle sugar on cookies over waxed paper.  It keeps the mess in one place and makes it easier to clean the counter when you’re done.  Use a zip-top plastic bag to marinate meats and combine messy mixtures.  Toss the bag and cleanup is done!
