Dose of Rose
Using the prettiest thick, white satin ribbon you can find, cut a 6- to 8-inch length, tie a knot to finish of your centerpiece, which you can craft with a clever technique that is at once graphic and gorgeous. Remove the leaves from a dozen white roses, then trim each stem to a length of about 12 inches. Gather in a bundle and secure the stems at their middles with garden wire. Adjust and trim stem ends until they fit into the circumference of a low glass cylinder vase. Add a small amount of water to the container.
