Grilled French Bread

Makes 8 servings

  • 1⁄2 cup butter, softened

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tablespoons orange marmalade

  • 1 (16-ounce) loaf French bread, sliced in half horizontally

1. Preheat grill to medium heat (300° to 350°). Spray grill rack with nonstick nonflammable cooking spray.

2. In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic, and marmalade. Spread mixture evenly over cut sides of bread. Grill bread, covered with grill lid, for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until toasted.
