Chili Cheese Fries
Makes 6 servings
1 bag (32 ounces) frozen crinkle- cut french fried potatoes
1 pound ground beef
1 bottle (12 ounces) Heinz® chili sauce
1 packet chili seasoning mix
1⁄2 cup water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
Shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
2. Arrange crinkle-cut french fries on baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden and crispy.
3. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, cook ground beef over medium heat, stirring and breaking up any clumps as it browns. Add chili sauce, chili seasoning, water, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and onion powder. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
4. Remove fries from oven and arrange on serving plate. Spoon chili over the top. If desired, sprinkle with Cheddar.
