Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh asparagus

  • 1⁄4 cup olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons sugar, Domino®

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°.  Snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus. Spread asparagus in a single layer on 2 (15x10-inch) jelly-roll pans.  Drizzle with olive oil.  Sprinkle with sugar, salt, and pepper.

  2. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
