Ingredients

Makes: 6 servings

CHEESE FONDUE:

  • 1 package (8-ounce) cream cheese, Philadelphia®

  • 1 can (10-ounce) condensed cheddar cheese soup, Campbell’s®

  • 1⁄2 cup half-and-half

  • 1⁄2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, Kraft®

  •  Cut-up vegetables* and pretzel sticks

CHOCOLATE FONDUE:

  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate pieces, Nestlé®

  • 1 cup half-and-half

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, McCormick®

  • Assorted dippers (such as marshmallows, strawberries, bananas, and/or graham cracker sticks)

Directions

  1. For Cheese Fondue, using a table knife, cut cream cheese into 1-inch pieces. Place in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover bowl with a paper towel. Microwave on medium-high setting (80% power) for 1 1⁄2 minutes. Using oven mitts, remove from microwave. Remove paper towel. Using a wooden spoon, stir in cheddar cheese soup, the 1⁄2 cup half-and-half, and the cheddar cheese. Replace paper towel. Return to microwave. Cook on medium-high setting (80% power) about 5 minutes or until smooth, stirring every minute. Serve with cut-up vegetables and pretzel sticks.

NOTE:  Have an adult help you cut up your favorite fresh vegetables, such as celery sticks and sweet peppers.

  1. For Chocolate Fondue, in another microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate pieces, the 1 cup half-and-half, and the cinnamon. Cover bowl with a paper towel. Microwave on medium-high setting (80% power) for 1 1⁄2 minutes. Using oven mitts, remove from microwave. Remove paper towel. With another wooden spoon, stir chocolate mixture for 1 minute. Replace paper towel. Return to microwave. Cook for 1 minute more. Using oven mitts, remove from microwave. With wooden spoon, stir until chocolate is melted completely. Serve with assorted dippers.
